This was a clean A/B test – the tip was the only page element that changed.
We loved this test because it can apply to so many sites. It’s also a great reminder that serious shoppers may love more product information because it reduces their anxiety both about product selection and your store overall. Lastly, just because a page is busy, it doesn’t automatically follow that adding yet another element will reduce results. You have to test.
